This series of 3d works explores the theme of dealing with, and escaping from, society's pressures, expectations and constrictions.
A 3d fine art installation involving a cage which is peopled with butterflies painted as mini portraits, by artist Evelyn Sinclair, based in Kendal, Cumbria in the Lake District.

Evolution

A 3d fine art installation involving a cage which is peopled with butterflies painted as mini portraits. There is also a moving aspect of a butterfly which has 'escaped' the cage. Intended to  be viewed in a darkened room, with a  video of flames playing over it, to give a feeling of movement.

Ticking Boxes

A 3d fine artwork of a grenade painted with tiny people in boxes. Some of the people are happy, some less so. Overall the result of a society where people are forced into boxes can be explosive...
